Today I had a playdate at the beach on Syracuse Lake with my friend Gracie. Mommy was unsure of the cloudy forecast, so we went to the library and played with the toys and checked out a few books (and changed our stinky diapers) first, just in case it rained.

Thank goodness it DIDN'T rain! We splashed around in the water and dug in the sand. I even learned how to float in my monkey swim ring - how fun! Mommy didn't bring her swimsuit, so she said next time she will take me out into the "deep" water with my swim ring - yes!

We had snacks at the beach too, and Mommy is concerned I may have consumed a bit of sand too...it was hard to avoid; it's EVERYWHERE!
