Earlier this week, I had a play date with my friend Gracie at the zoo in South Bend. It was a perfect summer day, and there were lots of mommies and kids and strollers there! We saw kangaroos, tortoises, a leopard, lots of monkeys, an anteater and lots of cute prairie dogs!

I begged and begged to ride on the "choo choo", so we did! It was soooooo fun! Mommy complained that the train went WAY too slow...

Mommy wanted to visit the butterfly house, so we did! It was very warm and damp inside (blech). There were TONS of butterflies! They flew so close they could land on you! Gracie and I did some coloring while Mommy took a bunch of pictures.

My favorite part of our visit was brushing the goats! You know how much I love the pygmy goats (in general)! They liked to be brushed and pet. I loved it; I could have stayed all day!

Zoos are AWESOME!
