Blueberries...yahoo! Yesterday, Mommy and I and Maw Maw went blueberry picking at Beech Road Blueberry Farm in Wakarusa. I've never been blueberry picking before...did you know they grow on bushes? I got my own pink picking bucket, but I didn't put many berries in it because I was too busy eating them!

Maw Maw picked six pounds and Mommy and I picked 7 1/2 pounds (and I ate about half a pound!). Berries are nummy!

Beside the blueberry farm was a field of corn, which I've never touched before. It tickled! Mommy had a very hard time removing me from the cornfield - I wanted to run and play and dig in the dirt!

After leaving the blueberry farm, we drove to Grandpa Marko's friend Bob's farm (he lives near Wakarusa too) to see his horsies, but they went way out into their pasture to eat lunch (grass). We did get to see Bob's antique farm truck and some very friendly chickens. Then it was on to Cook's Pizza in downtown Wakarusa (Mommy called it a "greasy spoon"). I liked the french fries with "dip" (ketchup) and the root beer floats! The waitress tried to give me a lollipop, but Mommy said "NO" - but I did end up getting some bouncy balls from a vending machine, so I was fine...and all that fresh country air really did me in - whew!
