Fall Break!
This week, all the "big kids" were off school for fall break. My my preschool only gave us one day off...what the? Anyway, Mommy and I take advantage of any sunny day we have, so we go outside whenever we can! This week, while we've been getting over our THIRD colds of the season, we went to the "little waterfall" (Baintertown dam) for a nature walk. We picked up pretty leaves and talked to a "grandpa" who was fishing from a bridge. He showed us a "wooly worm" and I petted it and set it free on the hiking trail. I LOVE wooly worms! They are soooo cute!
We met Daddy at the local orchard to get apples, gourds, cider and some really big pumpkins for Halloween,
I posed for the obligatory fall photos Mommy always takes. And of course, I had to sneak in one of my "cheese" faces!
We also did some crafts that were included in my latest copy of Charlie and Lola Magazine. We made a sock puppet together, and then I worked on some activities on my own.
I love getting my own magazine! I really wish I could read, though.
So, HOORAY for fall! I love jumping in leaves, eating pumpkin muffins, making applesauce and decorating for Halloween! Don't get me started on Halloween.....I'm sooooo excited for it to get here!
