Playdate, Plan B...

 

The other day, my friend Gracie and I were supposed to meet at the playground for a playdate, but as Mommy and I were getting ready to leave the house, the sky turned purply-gray and it started to pour! So, Mommy decided to have Gracie come over to our house for some crafts, some snacks and some FUN! Woo Hoo!

Once in a while, Mommy lets me paint, and this was one of those times! I love, love, love to paint, but it REALLY stresses Mommy out!

 

Gracie and I painted rocks and added googly eyes - always a hit!

We also painted some toilet paper rolls, and then Mommy helped us turn them into "who whos"! How fun! They turned out cool! I took some of them to my preschool to give to my teachers this week.

While we waited for the paint to dry on our "creations", we "surfed" in the living room on the surfboard Mommy and I made the last time it rained (and we were stuck inside)! Mommy put some "surfing music" on her computer and we pretended we were in the ocean.

 Rainy days aren't so bad after all! Whee! We can always go to the playground another day!
