Swimming Pools and Helicopters...
Well, summer is in full swing now! I've been taking swim lessons, daily, at Shanklin Park; and playing around in the "baby pool" every afternoon, too! I really, really like the pool!
I've learned to float, swim with a "noodle", jump off the side of the pool and even go underwater! This week, I "graduated" and my swim instructor (not pictured) said I improved a lot and she was SO proud of me! Next year, I'll be with the older, more experienced kids!
Last week, Mommy, Daddy and I went swimming at "Grandma and Grandpa" Joesten's house, and I showed them all the skills I learned at swim lessons. They only live like 3 minutes away from us, so we are planning on swimming there a lot more this summer! It's pretty cool to have a pool all to ourselves!
Yesterday, Mommy and I took Daddy and Paw Paw out to breakfast, and then to a helicopter fly-in/airshow at the airport. There were maybe 50 helicopters that flew in, and they were VERY loud! It was SUPER hot and humid outside, and I got a little whiny and crabby (per Mommy). We may have left the show earlier than anticipated...
Next time, I want to ride in a helicopter!
