Fun, fun, fun when it's hot, hot, hot!

It has been SUPER hot here lately, well, pretty much for the whole summer so far...but I have still been having tons of fun!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to see a drive-in movie - outdoors! It was the first time I'd ever been to a movie outside: we got a big bucket of popcorn and watched the movie from our car! I even stayed awake for the whole thing; I can't wait to go again!

I've been spending a lot of time at Maw Maw's cabin on the river in Michigan...'cause she has a BOAT! Whee!

There is a "burn ban" where we live, because it's been SO hot and dry, so you can't have campfires or fireworks....well, we did some sparklers on the drive way and were VERY careful!  

Mommy and I visit water whenever we can; last week we went to the Goshen dam for a picnic and a little hiking.

Mommy, Maw Maw and I visited a big blueberry farm in Wakarusa, and I met a nice girl named Violet. We played and played while Mommy and Maw Maw picked buckets of berries (and sweated buckets)!

I had a fun playdate with my friend Gracie at a park with a splash pad! We had a picnic lunch and then played in the water - good fun!

And, of course I play in my pool on a regular basis! My friend Paizlee, from next door, came over and we splashed and splashed (and screamed and screamed)!

Even if it's "a hundred degrees in the shade", summer is still WAY FUN!
