We have now been home over a week from our first Family Vacation to the east coast. We spent several days with Mommy's cousins, first at their beach condo in Ocean City, Maryland, and then at their house outside of Baltimore. I had a fever the day before we left on our road trip, and was out of sorts when we got there, but went to the beach anyway.

I did not want to go in the water, or be held, or eat for that matter. We did check out the boardwalk and see some dolphins swimming out past the beach. We went to a restaurant with a kid's pirate ship you could climb on, and I put my face in a red-haired mermaid cutout. Mommy and Daddy had planned to go out to eat at a nice seafood restaurant for their 5th anniversary, but ended up taking me to the emergency room at Atlantic General Hospital (because my fever would not go away).

I did not have a good time at the hospital, but they made me all better. Once I felt better, we had much more fun on our trip!

I got to pet and feed some goats at a farmer's market, visit Baltimore and Annapolis, go shopping, play with my cousin's dog, and eat some crabs! Mommy said she hopes that next time, I'll be more fun - wha?
